Technical Lead Development

  Key Responsibilities: 

• Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of an assigned team engaged in performing ABAP programming and implementing day-to-day SAP Basis administration activities in a complex multi-tier SAP landscape.
• Review work products to ensure completeness, accuracy, functionality among modules and application systems, and adherence to established project plans and requirements.
• Maintain close daily contact with SAP Basis team regarding assignments, work progress and statuses.
• Confers with management and functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures with information technology and to identify innovative customer solutions.
• Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business requirements
• Advises management of the overall cost, efficiency considerations, operating advantages and disadvantages, and material and personnel resources associated with the conversion of a specific work function to using an SAP based solution.
• Architect activities during upgrades and major releases with multiple stakeholders, working with Change and Release Management teams.
• Develops training programs for users on the use of forms and reports, authorization roles, custom workflows, and other related areas.
• Coordinates and participates in the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation for assigned projects.
• Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years’ experience of managing SAP ABAP and Basis teams
• Excellent technical understanding of SAP products
• Demonstrable knowledge of SAP technical architecture with hands-on experience
• Thorough knowledge of SAP software and MS SQL and HANA databases, as well as working experience of key business applications including SAP ECC, BWoH, BOBJ, CRM, PI/PO, SRM, SolMan, Fiori
